NBA Ambassador
Beginning in 2010 Horace became an ambassador for the NBA traveling the world to represent and promote the NBA. Since accepting the position he has traveled to Mozambique, Angola, Turkey, Spain, Qatar, The Philippines, Australia, and he has made several trips to China. He loves to immerse himself in the culture of each country, eating the local cuisine and dining with the locals. He is often honored by the leaders of the countries and has dined with a Prince and a US Ambassador.
While visiting these countries he works with NBA Cares, an organization which helps underprivileged children around the world, visiting ill children in the hospital or teaching basketball skills on the court. He is often hired to judge contests, choose scholarship candidates and make appearances. He loves his job and loves meeting and becoming friends with people around the world.
Aside from his work with the NBA, Horace works with a group of private investors playing in exhibition games in China. Along with fellow NBA legends such as Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Gary Payton, Clyde Drexler and Penny Hardaway, Horace helps to put on a fantastic show for the Chinese people!
